Simple breaks are often same-day.

Broken chains are one of our most common repairs. We solder broken links cleanly, replace damaged sections, and rebuild worn clasps — on gold, silver, platinum, and palladium chains of any weight. A clean solder on a thin chain is nearly invisible when done right. For chains with multiple weak points, we may recommend rebuilding a section rather than spot-repairing each break individually.

If a chain has broken 2-3 times, the metal is fatigued and will keep breaking. In that case we recommend replacing the chain entirely or melting it for its metal value toward a new piece.

Yes, though very fine chains (under 0.5mm) require a skilled hand. We work under magnification and use the appropriate solder for the chain's karat to keep the join clean and flexible.
