A cracked or badly scratched watch crystal isn\'t just cosmetic — it lets moisture into the movement. We replace mineral glass, sapphire, and acrylic (hesalite) crystals, sourcing the correct diameter, profile (flat, domed, or AR-coated), and thickness for your model. After replacement we re-press the case and test water resistance before returning the watch.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN MINERAL AND SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL?

Mineral glass resists light scratches better than acrylic but can crack from impacts. Sapphire (synthetic corundum) is nearly scratch-proof but can shatter under sharp impact. Most modern watches above $300 use sapphire.

CAN SCRATCHES ON A CRYSTAL
BE POLISHED OUT?

On acrylic (vintage and some dress watches), yes — we polish scratches out with a buffing compound. Mineral and sapphire scratches cannot be polished and require full crystal replacement.
