Gemstone replacement matches the original stone in cut, color, and carat weight so the repair is invisible. Stone upgrading replaces an existing stone with a larger or higher-quality gem in the same setting, or a setting we redesign to accommodate a larger stone. We show you three options in your budget side by side before any work begins — you choose based on what you see, not on spec sheets.

CAN YOU MATCH
THE ORIGINAL STONE EXACTLY?

For diamonds, yes — we match the cut, approximate carat weight, and color range. For colored stones (sapphires, rubies, emeralds), exact matching is harder because natural stones vary; we find the closest practical match and show you before setting.

WILL THE SETTING
NEED TO BE MODIFIED FOR A LARGER STONE?

Sometimes — if the upgrade stone is significantly larger, the prongs or bezel may need to be rebuilt to hold it securely. We inspect the setting first and quote any needed modification.

HOW LONG DOES
STONE REPLACEMENT TAKE?

If we have a matching stone in inventory: 3-5 business days. If we need to source specifically: 1-2 weeks. We give you a timeline and updates throughout.
